This tutorial is to guide you through the installation of VirtualBox On Windows 10. Before we know how to install it, we should know how does it work, so we can have a better idea of knowing what we are about to deal with. VirtualBox is a software that allows multiple operating systems to run on your host operating system without any need of rebooting or switching to another operating system, which means you don’t have to reboot your system every time and switch to use another operating system. We can use different operating systems using VirtualBox Software while using your Windows 10 operating system.
Before Installing Virtual Box on your Windows 10 you should preserve some of the requirements listed below.
- Internet Connection.
- You should be using Windows 10.

Step 1: Downloading Setup From Website
Click on the hyperlink listed above in the requirements. After clicking on the link you will be directed to the main website in your default web browser, as shown below:
Now Click on the Windows hosts link as shown below.
Now, wait for your download to complete.
Step 2: VirtualBox Setup Wizard Process
Open up the VirtualBox.exe setup file and wait for the wizard to appear as shown below.
Now click on the Next Button to proceed.
Step 3: Customize VirtualBox Features –Dialog box
Leave the features to be installed as default, click on the Next button to proceed.
Step 4: Choose Options to customize –Dialog box
Make sure you have check marked all the checkboxes as highlighted above. Now click on the Next button to proceed.
Step 5: Network Interfaces Warning Dialog box
Don’t worry about the warning, click on the Yes button to proceed, it will temporarily disconnect you from the network to install Network Interfaces.
Step 6: Ready to Install Dialog box
Now click on the Install button to begin the custom installation.
Step 7: Windows Security Message
If you see Windows Security dialog box popping up, make sure you have check marked the checkbox as highlighted above, now move on to click on the Install button to proceed. If you don’t see this Security message, don’t worry, skip this step and proceed to next step.
Step 8: Installation Process
After clicking the Install button, your installation will begin as shown above. Now, wait for the installation to complete.
Step 9: Installation Completion dialog box.
After your Installation process is complete, you will see an Installation Completion dialog box as shown above. Make sure you have check marked the checkbox (as highlighted above) to launch the VirtualBox software after installation. Now click on the Finish button to Proceed.
Step 10: Welcome to Virtual Box!
After clicking on the Finish button your system will launch VirtualBox application from where you can manipulate multiple operating systems.
