Autocorrect is a feature which is included in almost every platform either its your smartphone, tablet or your laptop. It corrects the misspelled words that are redlined automatically and without any of your concern, but sometime its a blessing and sometimes you intended to misspell a word or maybe a word that you are typing is not in the system’s dictionary, so you have to go back to retype the word. So, If you are a Windows 10 user and also choose to use Edge, Windows 10 Facebook app or any other Windows 10 app where it auto corrects your misspelled words and you don’t like this feature and want to get rid of it. In this article, I will guide you on how to disable AutoCorrect in Windows 10.

So let’s get started with the stepwise guide.

Step 1: Open Settings from Start Menu.

Go on and open up Start Menu by clicking on the Start Menu Windows Icon as shown above.

Now, click on the Settings Icon in the Menu tray as highlighted above.

Step 2: Select Typing From the Devices Option

After Settings open up, it will show you numbers of options to choose from, click on the Devices option as above.

After your Devices Windows pop-ups, look for the Typing option in the navigation pane as shown above. Click on the Typing option to proceed.

Step 3: Turning off AutoCorrect

After selecting Typing option from the pane you can see the Autocorrect misspelled words toggle button Turned On as shown above.

Now, click on the Autocorrect misspelled words toggle button to turn it off as shown above.
